Birthdays Were Invented by Card Companies - Ron Swanson Birthday Card

Ron Swanson from Parks & Rec says it best.  "Birthdays were invented by card companies to sell cards." A birthday card that raises a very fair historical question and then celebrates anyway. For the birthday person who appreciates both the irony and the gesture.
