Billy Idol was born William Michael Albert Broad in the quaint English hamlet of Stanmore, Middlesex in 1955- but we know him better as the hard-charging punk rocker Billy Idol. Billy first rose to worldwide prominence with his 1982 hit White Wedding. The song was amazing but it was the music video (which MTV played constantly) that turned him into a rock megastar. After all of these of hearing this song, I still have no clue what he is saying throughout most of this song. Maybe it's the British accent, but maybe it's the screaming! Whatever the cause, it makes a prime target for one of our now-famous Wrong Lyric Glasses!

**Little known fact. Billy Idol was originally cast to play the villain T-1000 in James Cameron's Terminator 2. However, prior to filming Billy was in a serious motorcycle crash that forced him to cancel.
