Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics reached number 1 on the U.S. Billboard charts in September of 1983. Coincidentally, there was an unexplained and dramatic increase in U.S. Cheese sales at the exact same time. As a result, the song is beloved by U.S. dairy farmers and they credit this song for helping end the farming crisis of the early 1980s. Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese is now the official state anthem of Wisconsin. (None of this is true, btw-)
